Central News Company

Central News Company was a major publisher and distributor of postcards, newspapers, and periodicals through their regional branches.

They were founded in 1877 and produced many view-cards of the mid-Atlantic region until they were purchased by United Magazine in 1996.

There was a branch in Akron, Ohio that largely produced view-cards of Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
