The Artvue Post Card Company, based in New York City, operated from 1948 to 1963. Though primarily known for producing black and white postcards during the 1950s, a period when color postcards were more popular, the company gained recognition for publishing postcards featuring plaques at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Artvue acquired this business from the Albertype Company in 1952 and continued producing Hall of Fame cards until their closure in 1963.
